Overbury, the fit out specialist, are currently heading up one of the largest re-fit projects in Europe at Canary Wharf in London. The transformation of the Tower, which stands at 42 stories, will create a “workplace for the future”. The project is expected to be completed by 2025.
Windermere Pipeline: GPR surveying saves downtime and costs
ESS helped Balfour Beatty Advance provided an alternative method of ground surveying, saving commercial costs and reducing downtime on a Windermere pipeline project. Balfour Beatty advanced are working on a project to supply wastewater from Glebe Road to Windermere Water Treatment Works by installing a 6.5 kilometre long 600 millimetre ductile pipeline.
Confined space training
ESS supports over 7,000 customers with their equipment, training and specialist needs. It runs a range of confined space training courses using custom-built labyrinths to simulate different scenarios. All courses are certified by bodies such as City & Guilds or ROSPA and are run from our network of purpose-built training facilities across the UK.
Laser scanning for project tender on water treatment works
ESS, our specialist providers of safety, survey, communications and test & measurement equipment, worked with Mott MacDonald Bentley to provide a laser scanning solution for a project tender at a water treatment works in the North of England.
